It's written very down to earth and is not complicated. Anyone who doesn't trust prescription medicines in these days needs this handy 'manual' to treating things with natural medicines, many of which are found in our own kitchens and bathrooms.

This is a great first book for anyone. I used this book as my intro to Homeopathy over 25 years ago and don't know what happened to it. Ready to return to Homeopathy so I'm so glad to have this reference back. Easy to use, covers many common ailments. Great intro to Homeopathy

The book to have!

Great for basic Homeopathy understanding.

As a book to look up the most common remedies for a condition you want to treat this book is as good as the others. But i found the description of the remedies actions to be too short to make a decision between the mentioned remedies. Only once was I able to use this book to find a remedy that worked. Then I bought a Materia Medica which has a list of the modalities for each remedy. Better from heat or cold. better or worse from food, etc. So I would use this book to get a list of remedies for the acute condition disqualify about half of them from the brief description this book gave and then read several pages on each remaining remedy in the Materia Medica. I get much better results now.

This guide makes identifying the right homeopathic remedy easy. Increased my confidence in proper prescribing of the right remedy for the right symptom picture. Homeopathic remedies have been my number one health treatment for 25 years. I needed a new book because the old was was worn out.
