My hunting buddies all like the look of the bead too. Some say it's puny in size, but I think it's great. Some reviews complain that the bead doesn't sit straight or it falls off. Please note that the mounting screws are threaded on both ends. If you can't get it to sit straight, it isn't the bead's fault. Blue threadlocker ensures that the bead won't fall off. Original review↓ After trying several different beads, I settled on this one. This one is the universal mount so it should fit about anything. I used a dab of blue thread-locker on both the bead base AND the gun itself. I would recommend this for anyone purchasing this product. I've lost beads before and there is nothing more annoying than lining up a shot and finding that your bead has gone AWOL. Pros:Large diameter bead speeds target acquisition, screws in flush with vent rib so you don't have the annoying "shelf" optical effect that most aftermarket beads have where the bead base is 0.5 mm higher than the surrounding rib. This was incredibly annoying to me on other products, and it really sold me on this bead. Universal mounting screws are threaded on both ends. This allows you thread a screw into the sight from the bottom, and then attach that screw to the gun. If the bead is slightly out of alignment to one side, simply back out the screw slightly from the bead base so more threads are available to be screwed into the gun. Cons:In my opinion, this dual color design is not as efficient as gathering light as a normal single color green bead, so it is not as bright. However, the dual color makes the sight visible against a variety of different backgrounds.
