It took two 250+ men to retrieve the arrow, leaving the insert still inside.Went to the garage to try and retrieve my point/insert to prevent damage to other arrows. Used a long flat head screw driver to locate point/insert. Using needle nose pliers, I was able to get part of the insert out, so I tried to dig some more to get the other part. I could feel it, but just couldn't get it. I didn't get it, but did pull out some weird material that seemed to have some sort of rubberized coating on it (possibly recycled raincoat material). I couldn't tear it without using the knife on my multi-tool. Looking at the material, I could see why my point/insert got stuck inside. Now, I just wanted to find out why it was stuck so bad, and to find out what this target is actually made of, so I had to use a long blade to get to my insert.The layers go as follows. 1. Plastic covering 2. About a 1/8 piece of foam 3. Card board box (or card board material) 4. 3-4 in thick foam 5. A center randomly stuffed with that ridiculously tough rubberized material.Finally got to my insert after cutting about a 3x5x8 in chunk out of the target. The reason it was stuck was because it punched through a knot of that material, and it was hung where the collar of the insert and arrow shaft meet. Can only assume that as the arrow twisted to a stop the material just got that much tighter and wouldn't let go.I wish there was a way to give this no stars. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I've printed out a return label, but don't know if I'll get anything once they see what I had to do to get my insert. Either way, it'll be out of the house and I hope nobody else has an experience like this. I'll be buying another target whether a get any type of refund or credit, but this time I'll pay the extra $$$ and get something from Rhinehart or Block.I write reviews for nearly all the products I receive from Amazon, and pretty much all but this and another item have received 4-5 stars, so I'm not bashing this for no reason.
