I’ve had various coasters on my wish list for years but eventually pass on them all because they are too expensive, have a lip which makes it easy to knock over a glass (these are flat), or lack some other feature like a padded bottom. The Flox coasters are all recycled rubber that reminds me of a durable all-weather rekortan track surface. Some of the numbers even look like the lane numbers from a track. I’d certainly buy more that were inspired by the numbers and lanes on a track! The coasters are thick, don’t slide due to the full-rubber bottom, and feel like they’ll last forever. The designs are fun. My children enjoy rearranging them, trading each other, and just playing with them. Best yet, they put their drinks on the coaster instead of the table top! My wife thinks they’re cute. Flox Home sent me a coupon for my next order and I’ll most likely use it for myself or as a gift for others. I highly recommend these coasters.UPDATE (June 20, 2015): I still love these coasters but bending them quickly sheds the painted layer; it flakes off and destroys the number on an otherwise durable product. I know, why would you bend this? Ask the 3-year old who did it. He thought it was great fun. Now our poor "Yellow No. 6" is a lesser version of herself. However, they don't absorb, or contain the condensation well.
