**Q: does this plug into the ctek and then into my 12v outlet in my trunk?  Does the 12v connect to my battery?**
A: Our 56-870 comfort indicator cig plug is compatible with many CTEK chargers and can be used to charge your battery through your vehicles power socket.  Your charger still requires AC power to function when using this accessory.

**Q: What is it - what does it do ???**
A: Like a battery charger but it operated over long periods of time such as when you go on a longer vacation like >2 wks. Modern cars kill their batteries just sitting in the garage. This gizmo will keep it healthy without over charging. Higher tech than a charger.  Works beautifully on my Porsche 911.

**Q: Does it work with jeep gladiator ?**
A: Works with a CTek charger and will work with any battery regardless of make.

**Q: Is it ok to leave plug in when car is running  ?**
A: Yes, it is okay to leave this part (56-870) plugged in. Doing so will give you and indication of the charge currently on your battery.

If your vehicle has a cigarette lighter receptacle which can be used to charge/maintain a battery, this is the perfect plug lead to use with a CTEK battery maintainer. Just unplug the battery terminal clips from the main DC power line and plug this lead in.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works perfect for PORSCHE

I bought this accesssory to use with the 12v outlet in my Cayenne Turbo. Porsche specifies a particular height for the prongs of the plug inside the outlet in order to avoid damage. This part and the CTEK charger I use it with are the exact same pieces that Porsche sells as part of their accessory range minus the Porsche logo. So, you are assured that this meets the requirements for use in your Porsche and you save about 40%. Of course it works great if it's good enough for Porsche, so I'm sure you would be happy with it in whatever vehicle you drive. The conditioning and maintainance feature of this unit leave my vehicle ready to go at any time regardless of how long it has been sitting. I am totally happy with the performance and although it was not the cheapest option, I feel that this is a good vale for a quality piece of garage equipment.
