I use it to keep medical equipment on. The perforations on the shelf are small enough the feet on the equipment does not fall through them. I chose not to use the wheels for this application. I may use them later on. The finish is nice, the cart is locked in place by a turning knob. I would rather have had another type of lock to eliminate the 'industrial use'. However, it does not take away from its clean, and simple look.
