I was glad to see Hubert Sumlin's name there who we just lost on December 4th, 2011 (RIP Hubert) as well as every other player in each song. It has been in my car CD player since it arrived and it is all that I am listening to now. My 12 year old loves it too. This is the real deal and I own a lot of The Wolf and other blues players! If you are new to the blues, this CD will wet your whistle and have you go out to buy more. Buy this and keep the blues alive! The Blues needs you! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The real McCoy. *by L***H on June 26, 2012* Howlin' Wolf AKA Chester Burnett was one of the greatest blues singers ever. He was a real gut bucket howler. What a powerful voice!!!!! I suspect that he could play a club with a small electric backing band and not need a microphone. This is a great collection. Every cut is a winner. These recordings are kinda primitive and stripped down, but very soulful. This man also had great material, much of which was written by Willie Dixon. Countless white rock/blues groups recorded his tunes. It is a shame that Wolf never got the recognition that he deserved.
