I love the brand, and its iconography, and I've been using since forever their eyeliners and shadows. Together with UD, Ardency Inn has the best pencil eyeliners out there, rich in color, and crazily long-lasting, super staying power. I think Ardency Inn doesn't get the love it deserves.. Anyway, I ordered this one because i have most of the colors with great results. I don't really why, because pink never flatters me but... who cares? It's Ardency inn right? What could go wrong?Everything. I give 4 stars because the eyeliner is great on itself, is stays in place decently (not as much as the black version), doesn't move, and it's almost a penalty to wipe it off. But the color.... such a disappointment.The color is described as a hot pink but I find the color more like a cool berry, reddish. For comparison you can see UD Woodstock and Ardency inn swatch together. Woodstock is a cool fuchsia, but it's very bright with satin finish, and leans more to pink than Ardency inn, that looks almost pure red instead of pink. Also, its close enough to a classic magenta, so... no, it's not a hot pink. The results (I'm medium skin tone, brunette) is that I look as if my eyes were injected with blood after the zombie apocalypse. The color by itself is nice, but it's not for everybody, because magenta and red as a liner is... well, bold, so if it's not your shade, can be dangerously cadaver-likeOtherwise, I can't give less than 3 stars, because the pigmentation is very good, opaque in a single pass, and works both in the waterline and lash line ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High pigment, true black, doesn’t fade, easy to apply *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 19, 2018* This is my current holy grail eyeliner. For nearly a decade I was in love with Revlon ColorStay. I like a smooth, highly pigmented, blackest black eyeliner that stays put and doesn’t fade. The Revlon is a bit drier and therefore stays where you put it better... but the Ardency Inn is easier to use a brush to get the perfect line and is much richer in color. The upper eye stays put but there is slight smearing of the lower liner (I put mine in the waterline - so they all smear and wear bc of tears).
