A: I ordered these but I'm not sure I would use them for a hot soup. I looked at the Hefty.com website and the following is what it said....... 'Hefty Everyday white foam plates, bowls and trays are perfect for everyday meals and special occasions. This disposable foam tableware is strong enough to prevent messes and leaks -- but also affordable enough to use every day! Use Hefty's foam plates, bowls and trays for all kinds of meals, including dessert, sandwiches, fruit, hamburgers and more!'
