It will list the part numbers of competing manufacturers that this component can replace. **Q: is this for the 8 inch burner** A: It can be used for either 6 or 8 inch burner. It is a heavy duty switch to handle more amps. This replacement switch has been in operation on my electric stove for over a year on the 8 inch burner.
