It’s meant for certain types of fabrics. **Q: which one is waterless? Water leaves a white stain on my couch.** A: The products themselves may be waterless but they all call for water to wash away the Carbona after application. You probably need a dry clean stain remover. **Q: Have spray paint on a jacket that is windbreaker material. Will this remove it?** A: I have used Carbona products for years. However, this is not one that I have had a need for. I just reread the back of the bottle and feel that this might not be the best thing to try. Not knowing what the material is made of makes me suspect it might not the best thing. It says not to use it on acetate and depending on how old the jacket is you might not want to test it on hidden spot. If you happen to have an old jacket of the same material you could try it on that. Sorry I couldn't be more help. If you have bought the product, please read the back of the bottle. Also if you haven't, go to the store and check the bottle there.
