First, we tried it straight undiluted and I was immediately disappointed. The flavor is reminiscent of Sprite, but the flavor is barely noticable. It’s like cutting a slice of grapefruit, squeezing all the juice out of it into the sink, rinsing the squeezed slice under water for 10 minutes and then putting that in 5 gallons of water for flavor. It’s there, but there’s nothing there. With this being used to make a non alcholic mixed drink it’s a waste. Adding anything to this, even 2oz seedlip to 1oz club soda, dilutes the flavor to plain water. For the cost of this bottle which is equivalent to that of an equal amount of alcohol like gin, this is an absolute waste of money. If the flavor was 1000x more intense, it might be worth using since it’s meant to be mixed with something else and still tasted. Save yourself $30 and buy yourself two cans of Sprite and you will have about the same volume of something similar in flavor and can stand up to something else being added without loosing it’s influence on taste. Very disappointing.
