For THIS top I read all the reviews most of which said this top runs small—I agree! I purchased the 1X to wear under scrubs and under vests so I didn’t want a bulky shirt. I can handle shrinkage of a size down since I’ll wear it under something. However, I might buy the next size up (2X which normally would be too large in other brands), because I think the shirt would fit just right by itself.COLOR: I purchased Charcoal to match expensive Charcoal-colored dress pants and they matched perfectly. This top’s charcoal is not strictly a faded black, rather it is more like a gray-brown. That’s what I needed. The photo color was accurate.BRAND: I believe this brand is sold in CVS pharmacies and Wal-Mart but I’ve never seen THIS color either place for the cost (not expensive).COST/QUALITY: a tad expensive on Amazon.
