It has all the essentials for basic leather craft construction! There are three different colors of very sturdy thread/cording, beige, brown, and black. There are multiple types of needles including 2 hooked needles that make sewing the leather pieces together very easy and aren't usually included in kits that I have looked at. The tools are very sharp and easy to use/cut through the leather. As soon as I got this in I used it to enlarge the holes for my boot buckles as they were too small and hard to push the buckle through to adjust. It worked amazingly!!! I used the smallest size hole punch and it was a perfect size; not too big to have the holes too close together, but not too small that the buckle was hard to get through. I then used it to make a leather choker for my teenage daughter for her Gothic style outfit that she had been wanting but could not find to buy! She loved it and now is making her own leather crafts with this as well. I see many, many more projects to come in the near future using this for myself and for holiday gifts! I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a tooling kit, it is a must buy! ### ⭐⭐⭐ adequate for beginner or rare user *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2019* The hole punches are the best part of the set. Arrive nice and sharp. I am an idiot and am taking it out on the product but I did not use the prongs with a self healing mat underneath. Instead my "anvil" was a block of metal thereby dulling the prongs. Will probably have to buy another set. I feel the tool could have advised me the metal was that soft. The wooden mallet may be plain untreated pine. It is just too soft. Had to buy different mallet as the wood one is a little soft on the head. I have glued some scrapeople leather to both sides and that seems to help a little. This kit would be even better if it had a varnishing tool and anot edge trimmer.
