Perfect upgrade for any cabinet needing 1/4" overlay *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2021* These are SUCH an improvement compared to the double demountable hinges we had. The amount of adjustments that can be made with these compared to double demountable hinges make the upgrade a no brainer and for the first time ever, my cabinet doors are perfectly square and level.After removing the double demountable hinges, I filled all the holes with wood filler and sanded it down flat so it was like I was starting with a brand new door. I bought the kreg drill bit that was recommended in other reviews, and set it to 3mm per other reviewers recommendations and they turned out PERFECT! The pilot holes even line up perfectly on the kreg. My only complaint about the actual hinge is the space it leaves from the side like others have mentioned but it honestly doesn't bother me that much especially when it looks 500x better than before. My main complaint about the manufacturer is that they don't include any instructions. And the measurements they do put on the package in reference to the diameter are incorrect. The standard kreg hidden hinges jig is a necessity for the installation of these hinges.Fortunately I took the advice of previous reviews and had a flawless install. Similar to the other reviews, I noticed I could see a gap and the hinge when I look at the cabinet at an angle, but for my use this was acceptable. I am a bit unhappy with the slow close adjustments. The hinges are supposed to have 3 settings but mine only seem to have on or off. They either slam like a regular hinge or take 10-15 seconds to close. I carefully set the level to the medium setting, (which isn't easy to do) but they just act the same as the slowest close setting. I started just putting one hinge on the slowest and one on the lowest which somewhat works but I question the durability of this long term. The mounting adjustments worked well to set the door correctly in place.
