The flag is made of a tough material and is rigid enough to stand up and be clearly seen. Easier to use than a lot of other flags.
Review: High quality beautifully machined product - Loved the quality of this safety item that is an essential for all clay pigeon shooters using semi auto feeding shotguns on the clay ground. In my old Remington 1187 it is actually quite a snug fit in the breach so i may shorten the breach plug end and perhaps chammfer the leading edge of the plug so it whistles in a a bit easier. Still a great item I enjoy using and the fit may vary according to the ejection port size of different models. Had an old plastic napier model which eventually seccumbed to the bolt face hitting it to hold it in place. there will be no such issues with this solidly machined piece of aluminium.

**Q: Is there any reason not to use these in a pump action?**
A: Hello, These are not specifically designed for use in a pump action shot gun, however we do have people use them in pump action guns.  The only thing to consider is that the part is held in place by the bolt face that slides forward, on a regular semi automatic this is spring assisted and maintains positive pressure at all times, depending on the mechanism of your pump action gun and any wear the pump mechanism may slide backwards with movement, vibrations or if shocked if bumped on the shoulder pad in a vertical position and allow the bolt face to disengage from the flag body and become loose or fall out. I like this item as it fits inside the chamber making it impossible to have a loaded round. It also provides a very visible flag to others around you that your gun is in a safe condition. It is well made from machined and polished alloy. I would def buy it again.
