Zippo Fire Starting Multi-Tool

What can I tell you about the Zippo multi-tool? It's kind of big for the tools you have on it, but all of everything on there is very usable. The blade feels like something off of a Swiss army knife and it has a small food grater to grate wood into small parts to start a fire. Even has a striker underneath the grinding tool. I love it!

I am a collector of knives and pocket tools. I also collect lighters. So this was nearly a must have for me. But, as a serious tool, not so much. It's not that it doesn't work, all the features do in fact 'work'. It's that there are better ways to grate tinder, and better ways to make a spark. A unique item for any Zippo collectors as well. Still a great deal of fun. Well made and not entirely useless.

When I saw Zippo I thought ok cool. It’s a fun toy, but it would not holdup to real use. Cheap crap from China!

Love the small size but don't let that fool you. This is one amazing tool. Fits in my pocket nicely. Feel very secure carrying it when hiking. You just never know.

I like all the features of the tool, although I haven't started any fires yet. The attached paracord is firecord; it has a red filament the is coated so it will burn. It's a very interesting idea. I found you can buy extra firecord on the internet. The knife, saw, can opener blades are extremely stiff. I took a special screw driver and loosened the screw on the blades and now I can use them. I haven't been able to find the storage for the extra flints. If you take the spring out of the lighter you find it presses against the flint at the striker wheel. I didn't find any extra flints and I think you would have a hard time inserting them in the spring housing. It is a novel tool for emergencies and nice to have around.

ナイフは正直箱出しでは切れ味は悪かった。 指は普通に沿わせられるしコピー用紙は切れるというより破ける。自分で研がないとですね。 ノコギリは針葉樹の枝くらいのサイズなら切れます。さすがにキャンプ場の枝を切るわけにはいかないので薪で試しましたが。 ティンダーグレーター（火口削り）は細かく薄い木の破片を作ることができます。たくさん集めた破片に火花散らせば火種ができるかなと思って何回か試したんですがダメでした。自前のメタルマッチから麻紐で火を起こしたことはあるんですが、メタルマッチがしょぼいのかも。木のコンデションが悪かったのもあるかもしれません。 パラコードの中の赤い紐が着火剤になってるのでほぐしてメタルマッチで着火できるかなと何度か試しましたがこちらもうまくいかず…。やはりもっと火花がたくさん出る質のいいメタルマッチを使う必要があるのかもしれません。ガストーチで着火したら普通に燃えました。 他の栓抜き、マイナスドライバーは問題なく使えます。 ツールを展開した時もがっちり固定されて使いやすいです。その分閉じる時は少々力がいります。 パッケージ、取説はアジア向けなのか韓国語、日本語、中国語の併記です。ちょっとダサい。 ナイフを使えるようにするには自分で研がなきゃいけないのが面倒ですが、本体はゴツくてかっこいいし十徳ナイフ系にはない火起こしツールがあるのがポイント。

Não achei prático, e se você usar a serra, o mosquetão e a corda atrapalha. Achei ele grosso também, para poucas ferramentas. Não é compacto, não é prático e também achei caro.

マルチツール最大手の赤い某メーカー製品を収集しているので、対比での感想になります スペースがかなり無駄 厚いスペーサーが入っていて、隙間がガバガバ 0.3mmくらいのクリアランスにすれば、厚みは変わらずもう1個何か機能を追加出来そう 個人的にはスペアのフリントか超小型のフューエルタンクが欲しい これだけ遊びがあるわりには例えばナイフを開けると他のツールも付いて来ちゃうのがちょっとウザい 機能追加かスリム化出来そうなんだけど、ある程度火口おろしの幅は欲しいので、機能追加を希望 ナイフの切れ味も今ひとつで研ぎ直したい これだけの価格なら(¥6480)某メーカーのミディアムサイズの多機能機種が買えるので、もう少し細かい所を煮詰めるなり頑張って欲しかった 現状正規対価は現定価の半額くらいかな…

ZIPPOの正式なマルチツールです ・質感 なかなか良いです 塗装や磨きも良好 ZIPPOのロゴも相まって、所有していると嬉しくなってくる雰囲気があります ・塗装 軽薄な赤で綺麗です 全体の質感を高めてくれています ・ツール 火起こし用のツールがメイン 他に栓抜き・マイナスドライバー・小型ナイフ・小型ノコギリ ・精度 全体的には特に悪点はありません ただ、左右にある小型ナイフ/ノコギリを出そうとすると、 中央の栓抜き部分が一緒に起き上がってきますので、そこの精度はそこそこ ・サイズ いい具合に手に収まるサイズ感です 火打ち部分が大体の体積を埋めるので、機能の量に対してはかなり厚みがあります （同じ厚みで、もっと機能がてんこもりの他社製品は多々あります） ・開封 開封は背面をビリビリ破る必要があります 取っ掛かりとなる切り込みもないので、うまい具合にカッター等で切れ込みを入れ、 そこから爪→指を入れて引き裂いてください 取説も入っているので、傷つけないように開封してください ※背面を切り裂いた後の写真を掲載しましたので、開封時のご参考まで ・価格 ・・・うん、高いです ZIPPOブランドにこだわる・雰囲気がすんごく好きならOKですが、 実用重視なら某有名メーカーの方がいいかも 全体的な質感はなかなかよく、手で握った感じや塗装など「いいねえ( '∀｀)」と感じる部分はあります 軽薄な赤も、軽さを感じさせてくれて扱いやすいです 所有していると嬉しくなるアイテムなので、価格だけ許容できるなら充分ありな製品です （貴方が欲しい機能が収まっている前提ですが）
