Thanks** A: I have been using these pans since 1995 and mine have never shattered. I have had guests break them by dropping them on tile or hitting them on my granite countertop but they have never shattered. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my pans and wouldn't use any other sauce / soup / pasta pans on the market today. **Q: can you use this cookware on a gas stove?** A: Yes. I have a gas stove and use this cookware all the time. **Q: Can you use these both for oven and stove?** A: I am new to vision “vision cookware club” (age25) I have seen my great grandmother and aunt use these in oven (as crock pot) for recipes. Any thing you would normally simmer. I wouldn’t exceed 300 degrees though. Or cold shock them. Or drop them. I’ve lost a few pieces. Perfect for table serving (dinner presentation). Or cold dishes.
