So easy and the board sits neatly on top. We drilled two holes in each and used short screws to hold them in place, only to stop them moving whilst sliding and moving boards about on top. You could possibly even get away without screwing them down, but it didn’t take long. They are nice and substantial, really pleased. Are they the same brand?** A: Yes these are near identical and stilt height is the same. If they are off at all, it's by 1-2mm max. I had same problem as you and I finished my half finished loft no problem **Q: What is the dimension from top of joist to underside of flooring with these fitted?** A: Just over 200mm. **Q: Dimensions height and width of the steals** A: Hi the dimensions are 1. Height from clip to top is 205mm 2. Bottom of the clip to the top is 270mm 3. Diameter of the top is 150mm 4. Thickeness of the shaft is 115mm 5. Clip length is 60mm I hope this information helps. Alfie **Q: Is there a max weight that they support? Can you walk on them?** A: We have loft storage of 5 rows of 4 stilts (20 stiles total) with 18mm loft chipboard on them a do walk on them. I think they are safe for this purpose but not for a area used by multiple people. Also are stilts are fitted to loft joists which are again not strong enough for a permanent room. That was good customer service and saved me a load of money. The legs themselves are great for adding extra insulation without losing storage space. What was really difficult to estimate was the number of legs needed especially if you have an awkward space to cover. I cut some of them on one side so they were flush against the exterior wall.
