I have used it every day, and it has worked perfectly! I owned a Rowenta DG980 for 5 years, and used it every single day, as well. The DG8520 has an on/off switch (unlike some other current models) and has a removable water tank. The water pump cycles more frequently than the DG980, but it isn't quite as loud and there is no interruption in steam output. (The DG980 would periodically stop producing steam for about 20 seconds while it waited for water to pump into the boiler and heat.) The sole plate design of the DG8520 also allows greater steam output than the DG980. I hope it lasts as long as the previous model. So far, it's great!
