Le doy las 5 estrellas porque este filtro te da una seguridad increíble para el motor en el trote del día a día. Lo que no te dice la descripción del vendedor y que se nota de inmediato al sacarlo de la caja es la calidad del sello de goma texturizado: viene muy bien diseñado, calza a la perfección en la rosca sin tener que batallar y no se deforma al apretarlo, lo que te garantiza cero goteos o manchas de aceite en el piso de la cochera. En el uso cotidiano, el agarre antideslizante que tiene en la parte trasera es una maravilla porque te permite enroscarlo y ajustarlo firmemente con la mano sin que se te resbale, incluso si tienes los dedos un poco manchados. Aunque la descripción dice que aguanta hasta 15,000 millas, en el día a día se nota que el material interno es grueso y pesado, reteniendo muy bien las impurezas sin taparse ni restarle presión al motor en los arranques en frío. Es un filtro aguantador, de una marca súper confiable y que te da la tranquilidad de que tu motor está bien protegido entre cada cambio de aceite. ¡Una inversión excelente para cuidar el carro!

For the price Fram provides the best filtration and quality oil filter and industry leader we've all been familiar with and used since 1st driving and changing our own engine oil. Cheaper types are goo din a pinch but for maybe a dollar less you are not gettin the same filtration of particulates for your precious engine as Fram. Not worth paying ridiculous fancier name brands. Only thing to remember is change it religiously at <5k miles. Period. And a Fram, Walmart Super tech, Microguard, or other cheap filter will be just fine accompanied with only* fully synthetic motor oil. Costco's is a great value and basically the same as Quaker state or Penzoil. Even Walmart's Super tech is fine s well.

Has a good grip coating, allows for easy removal without needing additional tools. Does the job and good value for money.

I drive back and forth to Canada every week (600+ miles each way). Every 6 to 8 weeks I do my own oil change. All I have to say is that I have bought this multiple times now, never had an issue. Delivery is quick. Oil filter install takes no more than 30 seconds. Never had a leak, price is good, and gets the job done. Will be buying for years.

Like the coating on the end. Makes it really easy to handle the filter in tight spaces and very easy to hand-tighten and loosen. Nice feature!

Some people are critical of using Fram filters claiming they are cheaply made. That may be true of the internal construction when compared to other brands. Still, I base my opinion on actual use and track record. Over the years I've used Fram products for all my vehicles and have never had an issue. They make a good product.

Fram Filter works and fits as described. Since Walmart stopped stocking practically all their Fram Filters, it’s nice to see Amazon keeps these available for the same price.
