I know they have to be a little tight to prevent them from coming off, but based on the picture I thought they wouldn't be so tight in the face. Every animal is different in their build though so it may be perfectly fine on your cat. I would recommend this product if you have a cat that bites during vet visits, grooming, or nail clippings.
