Fits my 14 month old rescue cat . fairly easy to put on a squirmy boy. He can not get it off! Yet! Made cutting his nails so much easier on my skin. I ordered size Small and it stops the bitting and he has plenty of room to grow.

My fur baby would never let us trim her nails. I put meds in her throat daily thats ok, but trim a nails, no way. She would get angry quick. Bought this mask and what a difference! She can breathe just fine and can not bite us. It actually calms her a bit. Easy to put over her face and simply Velcro's to close on her head. Definitely helps us to get her nails cut with out a vet visit! Definitely would recommend!

It is a good quality product and it does work well, but I do feel it was a wee bit snug on my cat's face. I know they have to be a little tight to prevent them from coming off, but based on the picture I thought they wouldn't be so tight in the face. Every animal is different in their build though so it may be perfectly fine on your cat. I would recommend this product if you have a cat that bites during vet visits, grooming, or nail clippings. They will not be able to eat or drink with these on so this is obviously not something you should leave on them for long.

Great little mask,when I put it on my cat it seems to calm him down...however he can still bite thru the mask......no damage to the mask but he cant stand you doing anything to him.....bath, nails, combing out hairballs,etc. He is a rescue and a sweet cat aside from that. He doesnt mind the mask being put on, its just when you try do do something to him.

The muzzle is made with a heavy mesh and attaches with velcro. I use it on an 8lb cat with a small head. I can get it snug on her head because of the vlecro, but it's big enough that it also fits my 14lb cat that has a lions mane. I'm currently living with a 12 year old cat that has never been trained to have her nails trimmed. Any attempt to cut them and she will chomp on whatever body part she can reach. I bought this hoping it would help but thinking that it was a ridiculous idea that would make me feel silly and gullible. I WAS WRONG! Just putting it on takes her stress down a few notches and completely prevents her from being able to bite. She's still a typical cat contortionist, but this muzzle significantly reduces the chance of bloodshed.

I have a complaining, squirming kitty when claws are clipped. I don't want a bite to happen or any negative experience so I was a bit worried about trying this. My first maine coon still young 4 years but big fit this well. I wider head may be snug. To my surprise it calmed him. I kept on only as long as it took for claws to be done and all went very well. I thought the mask would have cause more of a stir but very happy it worked to quiet him down. Although he may have been plotting his revenge. I like that they can see and breath well and I am glad I purchased this one for those reasons.

Very helpful while I was trimming my cat's claws. Last tim he bit me, so this was perfect. Easy to put on him & he could breathe & stay calm.

We rescued a 3 year old surrendered cat. He showed us right away no one was touching his paws. His claws were super long and you could hear them clicking on the kitchen linoleum. I have always cut my cats claws and never had issues with them. He was definitely going to be a challenge. I caught him after he ate. The muzzle went on smoothly- fit him great. Looked comfortable. He was very angry when I sat down with him to start cutting. He tried so hard to bite- the muzzle protected me. I had to get a towel to wrap him to do each paw, because he then tried to claw me away, the muzzle saved me from becoming a bloody mess. The muzzle definitely is durable and strong because he tried so hard to get it off. The job got done, no one (human or cat) got hurt & I kinda saved his life a second time because my husband said if the claws don’t get cut and he scratches the new furniture we will be getting next week, he’s going back to the shelter, although he never scratches the current stuff. I totally recommend this muzzle. I got a large, in blue. My rescue is a very muscular cat around 16-17 lbs. if he breaks out the next time I use it, I’ll definitely write an update but for now it’s great!

This fits well and works to some extent. Need something for those claws though.....very annoyed cat when it comes to nail cutting. Another story that one. This helps with grooming (particularly in 'don't like it' bottom areas and tummy. Recommend it for helping out tremendously.

Both are cats hate claw clipping and are good size British Shorthair. The mask idea is good but the large is only suitable for a small cat. They did not fit our 2 cats which was very disappointing.

My cat bites when he has to be brushed or nails cut. This muzzle allows him to breath better than some muzzles. It also helps to calm him down.

I don't know if this would totally stop a determined bite unless you had the fit exact, but for me it worked well enough to cut my mother's anxious cat's claws. Not the most robust material but cost was cheap.

It certainly does the trick, but not long term. My cat is able to very quickly pull it off. The small size fits him and my obese cat both fairly well.
