It still allows the forward and backward flexing of my foot, but prevents the sideways rolling I'm now prone to until my ankle is fully healed.It's also adjustable to suit different widths of feet and the air pockets are also adjustable, allowing air to the increased or deceased.I've worn this with trainers for gym work and boots for work with no issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by J***Y on 18 April 2016* Very pleased with this brace.
