There are 52 hook. The remaining balance in pieces were the little black plastic clips that comes in it's own little baggy. Thanks to the supplier for finally responding and especially to Amazon for exceptional service. See earlier notes about the pegboard.The quality of these pegboard clips is very acceptable, there is a generous number of pieces in the package. Unfortunately, these pegs do not fit effectively in a metal pegboard they are not stable. I'm certain this pegboard set would work well in a wooden pegboard (that has depth), they are not properly designed or usable with the METAL pegboards I've purchased/installed.Please provide a return authorization for RETURN OR EXCHANGE for a heavier gauge product expressly designed for metal pegboards as these will not work for my application. Also, many of the hooks pictured have what appear to be plastic or rubberized tips; mine are all metal. I bought them BECAUSE they had the plastic tips. I could have gotten 51 all-metal pieces for much less.
