Not just a phone stand it could also be used for tablets and e-readers such as Kindle due to its versatility. It can be used to hold devices vertically as well as horizontally.It is well built, designed, extremely lightweight and foldable so thin enough to very easily be carried in pockets without adding any extra bulk. The rubber pads at the base keep the stand firmly in place with no unwanted movement.
