You're meant to gradually melt the large puck of solid chocolate in a heavy pan of milk, heating it to just under boiling, while whisking often. Expect it to take about 20 minutes, if you're not making shortcuts. But it's a warm, nice chocolate, rich and spiced lightly with cinnamon, and it smells lovely while making it.
