Looks great. *by B***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2018* The lights are mainly plastic, with the exception of the base and trim (see photos)--having said that, they make a statement while being so unobtrusive people don't notice the materials. We purchased some of the first of this new model to be offered on Amazon so the deal was amazing! They have three light settings (controlled by tapping the foot switch 1-3 times for level of brightness and "on/off") all of which are daylight quality light, not the warmth of halogen lighting; this needs to fit with your decor or you'll have to layer light with additional light sources (which we did) to gain a warmer feel to the room. In the first photo I had the far light (left) on the brightest setting and the near light (right) on the lowest, it didn't show well in the photo but you can see a bit of difference.In summary, the description info is accurate. This one assembled in minutes. Apparently they shipped me the wrong hardware initially. Very impressed with both the lamp and their customer service, and am upgrading this review.Cheap. Arrived without hardware. Contacted Brighttech to get the screws shipped to me. Waited two weeks. Upon arrival, they would not fit into the lamp’s base. The threads are off or something, but after half an hour of frustration I gave up. Lamp would be pretty if it stood upright but as it is garbage. Really thought Brighttech shipped a better product than this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost as good as a light saber *by C***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2018* I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks.I love it. I really do. There are some drawbacks, but once you get past them I think you’ll love it. (1) when assembling it, I recommend 2 people. Maybe it was the way I held it out of fear of breaking it, but I made my husband help. There’s a hold in the bottom that a small screw goes through. You think it must have a bolt or actually screw in, but it’s just for stability if you want to call it that. Be sure to line up the angle so it fits flush, but that probably goes without saying. (2) good news: you will die before the bulb does! The led bulbs last forever so feel good about leaving it to a grandchild. (3) it puts out a good deal of light. There are 3 settings, so choose what you need. (4) the settings are changed by a button near the bottom of it. You can just tap it with your foot. I didn’t really understand by the description how that was set up, but my pic should show it better. (5) it looks like a light saber. (6) it seems very sturdy. I don’t think it’s going to fall apart soon. (7) it’s taller than I expected. I thought it would be the equivalent of a table lamp height, but it’s much taller.My husband and I both like it.
