As an intermediate at the gym but a novice at glute bands, I am giving you a review based solely on my experience.This is my 10th time using the band now, and whilst I admit the band was very strong for the first few uses, it has loosened up since then.It does what it says, it activates my legs and glutes and I can feel the band actually working my muscles (and leaves them burning!).In addition, the band stays in place perfectly in place and doesn't roll or move whilst doing exercises.This band is also perfect for squats, deadlifts, donkey kickbacks etc. but if you're not strong enough, it may be hard to stretch the band to the full tensile strength.Moving on, I think this band will last a while because the band is essentially made of loads of elastics woven together to make it strong and I haven't seen any snapping so far. I hope to one day use this band confidently for all my exercises and eventually be stronger than the band itself.I will recommend this glute band compared to the rubber ones (which get bad reviews about them snapping or rolling), I will definitely buy this one again if I ever need another band. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TEN STARS if only this was an Option! *by F***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 May 2018* Ten Stars! I bought a medium black size and I am female, around 5’7 weighing 60kg. The size and fit is absolutely perfect. I found it perfect for activating my glutes before and during training. This band adds just the right amount of friction and elasticity. In terms of quality, the material is soft and doesn’t hurt my skin or leave marks. I think it's a nice cotton blend, soft to the touch, as far as bands go. Another thing I use the band for is for external rotators for my thighs. Really effective and seeing toning in my thighs. Squats are also awesome. This product is a five star. I am buying a blue large one for my husband. I want him to have a tight bum too! Thank you Bear Grips, you never fail and another top-of-the-class product once again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ESSENTIAL ITEM FOR BUILDING GLUTES *by A***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 April 2020* I never leave Amazon reviews but this is the single best piece of gym kit i have ever bought.At the gym, I struggled to "feel the burn" and truly target my glutes during barbell hip thrusts and squats. I always felt it in my hamstrings more.I bought the bear grip (red and black version) to try out.This piece of kit has been life-changing for me. I take it to the gym every glute day and and use it every time I squat and hip-thrust. The band immediately puts pressure on your glutes and each loaded movement works them hard. For gym-goers with more experience, this band will "shock" your muscles into creating burn you've never managed to get before. I've found that it's extremely versatile and is useful on other exercises and can be used in conjunction with other gym machines (such as adding extra pressure on the Hip abduction machine).There's no need for weights. I've found that using it at home to do hip thrust/bridges with just bodyweight are just as effective and give you great "burn."It's also extremely durable. I've now had this for about half a year and I really do stretch it to it's limits with wide stances - there is no sign of wear and tear and the band is still as strong as it was when I first bought it, no slack. The band also has grip inside so it has never slid down my legs.In summary: I seriously recommend this if you're looking to enhance your glutes, I'm feeling the burn, seeing the difference and since using it have had compliments about how my rear looks.
