The installed pex was not in full contact with the underside of an existing floor. After installation, the customer informed us that the floor was noticeably warmer by the following day and happy with the upgrade. Was worried that this economical product would have edges that would have burrs that could cause problems where pex "enters" and "exits" plate; however, all the plates had very nice edge finish and I have zero worry of long-term abrasion on pex. Material thickness was not measured; but, it was perfect for attaching under a wood floor with basic 5/8" staples.
