Does this stick on plastic inserts also?

I like these labels. They seem to stick on anything, plastic included. They can also be peeled of and repositioned if need be and still stay stuck as long as surface is clean.

Does this product have physical dimensions??????

No it doesn't. It is one of the more baffling anomaly's that has baffled scientists and mathematicians for years. I would suggest purchasing a micrometer and a decent ruler if you want precise measurements. If this is too much of an inconvenience or you are looking for a quicker solution, you can always read the description of the product that Amazon provides. But that might be a last resort if all else fails.

Can they be used for 3x5 index card dividers?

They would work fine for that. They are only the tab--you would have to put them on some sort of divider card such as cutting one out of a file folder or heavy cardstock. Also the tabs are somewhat flimsy, but certainly reasonably priced.
