I was really hoping to like these, but I couldn’t get past the taste. It reminded me of a crushed medicine tablet with a very artificial and unpleasant. I tried to drink it the night I made it, but I couldn’t even finish it because the flavor was so strong. It mixed fine, but for me the taste made it unusable. If you’re sensitive to medicinal flavors, this may not be a good fit. They are easy to use if you can get past the flavor. I did drink one before I went out over the weekend and it seemed to keep me hydrated, but didn’t notice any change to my energy. They are a great value because this 12 pack will probably last 6 times as instructions state to use one before drinking alcohol and one after.

Taste horrible, throwing carton away. I would strongly recommend do not buy.

I can’t say how well these do for hangover help because it’s not really the reason I got them. It’s lent and I do a lot of fasting and it’s good to stay hydrated and to get your electrolytes and that’s why I got these, and so far I’ve been successful with not feeling hungry, when I fast I only drink water and electrolytes and I haven’t gotten weak or lightheaded so I believe the electrolytes are working. I’m not drinking alcohol during lent either so I won’t be able to try these for a couple more weeks for hangovers, but they are working for the purpose that I purchased them for which is fasting. They do however, have some calories and some sugar which I’m not super happy About 6 g of sugar. The taste is pleasant and when it’s mixed up it looks a little bit like Tang if you remember what that is, I’m old enough to remember that. The power dissolves well in cold water without clumping.

So this supplement came in time for me because I did have a few drinks Thursday night. However, I took it the following day to boost my hydration and assess the flavor. I mixed it with about half of a 500ml water bottle. The stick of powder opened easily and it was easy to pour into the bottle without making a mess. The flavor says pineberry and it’s a deep yellow color with just a hint of orange. Not being familiar with pine berries I can’t really describe the flavor. It smells slightly like a melon rind and tastes slightly like a melon type flavor. It’s not bad at all but not delicious either. Kind of reminds me of when my wife brings home some exotic fruit to try, it’s never bad just not delicious. Of course unlike a standard hydration drink this is supposed to be more medicinal to treat / prevent hangovers. I tried it on Friday night too, and followed the directions this time by drinking one before dinner to prep. I had an IPA and a half and half with dinner and then 2 more IPA beers at home. Before bed (around 11:30pm)I remembered I had this and mixed one with water in a shaker cup I normally use for protein shakes (which worked great). I woke up earlier on Saturday morning than I have for a long time, about 6am. I feel good, no hangover symptoms at all. 4 drinks is not a ton for me but I still normally feel anything more than 3 the next day. So overall I’d say this stuff helps. So if you know you will be drinking and don’t want to waste the next day, drink one of these before your first alcoholic drink and then one before bed. This way you can seize the day! 4 stars for the results, but I’m taking one off for the flavor, it’s decent but not a great flavor.

I am absolutely impressed with Hangin’ Rescue+! This hydration mix tastes great, mixes easily, and really works. After a long day or a tough workout, I feel rejuvenated and energized almost immediately. The blend of electrolytes, B6, C, taurine, and L-cysteine seems to give my body exactly what it needs to recover quickly. I’ve tried other hydration drinks before, but nothing comes close to the effectiveness and clean taste of this one. Highly recommend to anyone looking for fast hydration and recovery!

This hydration / Electrolyte Refuel Mix from "Hangin' Rescue" has been used intermittently for a few days now, with that in mind, here are some of my collective thoughts: A) Flavor: The contents of the packets have overall dissolved quite well, with no issues with extra unwanted additives, this was tested with a few ounces less as well as a few ounces over what was recommended for the serving size. I did this as a way to dilute and test the flavor, to see how this holds up comparatively to the base serving size. With that in mind, this was one area that I found to subjectively impair this product as despite testing different ratios, while also consuming at multiple times at the regular threshold, the flavor consistently remained too artificially sweetened, and unfortunately was just a miss in this respect. If there was something to change, it wouldn't be related to the texture or dissolvability, it would simply just be the flavor-enhancements or sweeteners used within this product, as this was ultimately a miss on me. B) Hydration / Effectiveness: From a subjective standpoint, these packets do indeed service quite well for post-workout or 'quick' recharging from a electrolyte and vitamin based consumption metric (ie, sodium and vitamin C especially), as the included ingredients are ample enough to be effective and don't appear to be underserviced in any capacity which is a strong win. I especially like that these aren't caffeinated, with a focus instead on other 'natural' stimulants/enhancers; the one aspect that hurt this product was unfortunately the strong artificial flavor, that overall was just subjectively 'too' strong and despite attempts to dilute the flavor, this just didn't seem to work out. C) Packaging / Branding / Image: The actual contents of this hydration mix are sealed in individual packets, 12 of them to be precise, overall, I had no issues with manufacturer defects or concerns over quality, as these have all been well represented in this respect (ie, clear text, color options are appropriate, no smudging or smearing, or adverse items to address, etc). As for the brand itself, the purpose remains clear in both the written and visual logo, I appreciate the market that this is trying to approach and the niche to be filled, with some remediation to the flavor experience this product could certainly change things within this space.

I’m not impressed with these drink sticks. The "Nutrition Facts" and the ingredients don’t align—something feels off when key details are left out. The product name explicitly mentions "Hydration Mix – 12 Electrolyte Powder Drink Mix with B6, C, Taurine & L-Cysteine & Caffeine Free Drink Mix," and the ingredient list confirms it contains: -Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) -Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) -Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) -Vitamin B3 (Nicotinamide) -Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) -Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) But the Nutrition Facts label? Only Vitamin C and a pointless 0mcg of Vitamin D make an appearance. If you’re going to include B vitamins for that so-called "energy boost," at least have the decency to list how much is actually in there. This kind of half-transparency doesn’t cut it. If a label can’t be trusted to provide basic information, what else is being hidden? For that reason, I’m giving this product 1 star. Do better.

Great product! Well packed in a convenient form for easy use. Helps to feel better than you would otherwise, and it tastes nice too.

These Electrolyte Drink Mixes are very easy to make up, no matter how drunk you are, and let's face it, these things are marketed to people who may get a hangover. Chuck a sachet in the glass and fill it with water. I do recommend giving it a good stir to make sure it's not clumped up at the bottom. Ask me how I know this. When made up the drink is tasty and easy enough to get down. Whether it has any more effect than a couple of painkillers and a pint of water remains to be seen, because who can predict what their hangover was going to be like anyway. I'm going to keep using them though. ;)

I am really pleased with this electrolyte drink. You mix the powder with water and it creates a pleasant taste. Best of all it really works to relieve the effects of dehydration whether due to working in a hot stuffy environment, after or before sports and exercise or as a recovery from too much alcohol. I really feel the defects of dehydration - pigheadedness, headaches, and generally feeling awful - these little packets work well to make me feel much better quickly, The sachets work out at just over £1 a time - really good value given how well they seem to work

12 of these caffeine-free isotonic-like powdered drinks sachets arrived in a smart cardboard box with a useful divider insert to help keep its shape and organise the sachets. The ones I received have a long expiry date of some 22 months into the future, which is plenty of time to dispatch a dozen drinks. Despite having a supposed "easy tear" opening, the polythene lining to the sachets means they won't make a sharp edge when torn and will shower powder everywhere when emptying. I found it easier to simply use scissors, which enabled a smooth pour into the glass. I dosed one sachet to a pint (approx. 500ml) of water, slightly more dilute than the recommended 200-300ml as I think that little water would provide too strong a drink and - to be honest - if you are dosing yourself for hangover prevention, you need as much fluids as possible, so an extra pint of water over two doses will be more beneficial. The flavour is given as "original" which my senses tell me is a not unpleasant blend of durian fruit and pineapple. It's a pleasant enough taste, but not so you would want more than the one dose, which is probably perfect for the application this powdered drink has. Anyway, a cycle commute to work always leaves me feeling a little fatigued on subsequent days. After trials over two weeks now, with a dose the night before (which is where the caffeine-free quality really earns its stripes) and a dose on returning home the next evening, I have felt surprisingly sprightly and that has been notably different from previous times over the last few months where it has been only the evening sunshine that has lifted my spirits. In my opinion, these are awfully pricey at £18.99 for just a dozen doses, but if they keep you running on all cylinders through adversity then it may just be a price worth paying.
