Love this light. I’m a new chicken mom. Afraid I’d mistakenly miss a live egg I needed help. This light does the trick! Very compact with a lot of power. Durable & easy to use. Light is bright enough to see straight through the egg. Comes with a usb c charger & a cute case to keep light safe. Battery life is also a plus. Excellent value for my nerves and money!

I hatch chicken eggs and I bought this very bright flashlight to see inside them! It’s compact and very powerful. It comes with a charger and charges fast. Battery life is great. It also comes with a case.

This little guy is so cool. I have just started my having chickens journey and we've decided we wanna start raising chicks so I got this to help me know which eggs have babies. This thing is soooo doggone cool!! The case is super nice, makes it easy to carry and protected. I like that it has a strap too. I havent even had to charge it yet so the battery is definitely lasting a long time. Super easy to use and works great! 10/10

It’s good for candling, but not the best for normal flashlight

If you're hatching eggs at home, this egg candler is a fantastic tool to have. The light provides excellent penetration, making it easy to monitor embryo development without excessive heat. The flashlight feels durable, while the rechargeable battery lasts a long time and charges quickly with the included USB-C cable. I also like that it doubles as a powerful flashlight and comes with a storage case! Works great!

Works great but very tiny.

Not bright enough. It's basically a little flash light in a case. Maybe it will work well on white eggs, but anything with color it's not good for.

I love how bright the candler light is. You can see through the egg perfectly but if you want to use it as a flashlight, it’s very bright and the width of the light is not bad at all. It’s super easy to use and it has ridges on it so it won’t slip out of your hand. It’s very well made and easy to recharge. I say if you purchase it it is money well spent.

Excellent

This has been a surprisingly excellent egg candler. I have been incubating eggs since mid-winter for the last three months, and this candling torch has been exceptional. It is small so sits in my palm perfectly while I balance the shell of the egg against the soft edge of my thumb and forfinger. to channel the light directly into the egg without shinning it in my eyes accidently. It doesn't get noticably hot either so I assume it is doing no harm to the egg and I have not had any issues with my embryos development either despite repeated candling. It helps me see embryos developing from as early as three days, and it provides so much good-quality light that I can see a surprising amount of detail inside the eggs. Even with some eggs that have thicker or darker shells, I am still able to visualise enough to identify fertile eggs, developing eggs and eggs where the embryo appears to have stopped developing or may be struggling. In the later stages it have been able to see incredible detail so much so I can easily see internally pipped chicks and whether they have begun to absorb their yolk sack prior to them finally hatching. Having a rechargeable option is awesome because I don't need to worry about batteries. The case is also great for protecting the candler and keeping the charging cord somewhere easy to find, so everything stays together and can live with all my other egg incubation gear. It is also a marvelous yet tiny torch should you need one between candling your eggs. I'm really happy to recommend this. Five stars from me. It's just awesome. I will add a small video soon once I have edited it to show it in use on our little silky chick still in the egg, we nick named him/her 'EMBRO' and he hatched perfectly. Gives the kids and myself so much joy to see the little embryos developing!
