Other, similar works are superficial in comparison, more like pamphlets that were perfunctorily thrown together, but there is a sense that the author really enjoys his subject! If someone were to have but one work on the subject, it would be this.

As the title suggests, this is (I believe) as complete a guide that there is on the subject. Many beautiful illustrations, clear diagrams and instructions are featured here. For beginner and the more advanced student, I recommend this one. Other, similar works are superficial in comparison, more like pamphlets that were perfunctorily thrown together, but there is a sense that the author really enjoys his subject! If someone were to have but one work on the subject, it would be this.
