The Freedom Fairy Tale [Dr. John Rossi] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Freedom Fairy Tale Review: Good man, good book - Dr Rossi has been looking after my animals for years. They all liked him, so I did too. I found the book to be very much like the man; to the point in basic, simple terms. I bought the book on my kindle, but I think I'll go buy a few in paper for some of the grandkids. I wish there was some way that books like this were required reading in the schools, instead of some of the socialistic garbage we see now. Rossi has covered the relationships between "that which is good" and "that which is bad" in a very clear, concise manner. A couple more readings and I think I'll score my points even faster when I argue with my "progressive" friends. Some of the book's lessons are understandable to 8 and 9 year olds, but most relate better to early teens or later. Review: Makes good kindling - Found this in a thrift store. After reading a couple of pages, we decided to spend our hard earned money on it so we could throw it in the garbage where it belongs, and no one else would have to read this stereotypical, judgemental propaganda. If I could have given it zero stars, I would have.

Symbolic truths for every age
Read this great book for FHE tonight and then we discussed it. My 17 year old recognized the symbolic truths immediately and my 8 year old girls understood its basic message. It makes so much sense I wish everyone would read it and understand it.

I even feel comfortable giving this book away or donating it
Wow when I started reading this I thought that I much have read it incorrectly so I went back and read the line again. propaganda. I even feel comfortable giving this book away or donating it. I would feel terrible if more people read this book because of me. I ended up throwing it away. (It was a gift from an extended family member)

Not a Fairy Tale-- A Nightmare
I received this book as a gift and was excited by the concept... then I read it. I am not sure what was most disturbing. Adults killing children, children killing children or the perpetration of the myth that only the adopted kids go bad (p. 21 "Only Hope among Capitalism and Freedom's natural children, survived"...) According to the definition of a "fairy tale" this book hardly qualifies as there were no folkloric fantasy characters. It is too blatant to be a fable. From a parent educators view this book does little to teach as it uses names for people that must be defined-- Communism, Freedom, Repression... If the reader does not already have a foundation for these terms the book just be comes one big scary story. I have hidden the copy I have so my children cannot find it. Do not buy this for your children.
