Handles Heavy Gear with Ease, No Issues with Screws at All
I’m genuinely impressed with the strength and overall build quality of this 20U rack. Once fully assembled and tightened down, it feels solid, stable, and well-balanced. There’s no wobble or flex, even when loaded with multiple servers, switches, and heavier gear. The storage capacity is excellent for a home lab or small office setup, providing plenty of vertical space without taking up an excessive footprint. Assembly was straightforward. All of the holes on my unit lined up perfectly, and the panels fit together cleanly without forcing or bending anything. The design makes efficient use of the 20U height, offering a functional layout that accommodates cable management, airflow, and equipment spacing without feeling cramped. Everything feels intentional and practical. I’ve seen complaints about the screws, but I honestly don’t understand the issue people are mentioning. The rack uses self-tapping screws, which are designed to cut their own threads during installation. This is standard for sheet-steel construction. As long as the screw is started straight and tightened with steady pressure, it goes in smoothly and holds firmly. With the holes aligned as precisely as they are on this rack, the process couldn’t be simpler. Any problems seem more like user error than a design flaw. Functionally, the rack delivers exactly what you’d want: strong support for mounted equipment, easy access for maintenance, and a structure that stays stable even when fully loaded. The combination of sturdiness, smart layout, and generous capacity makes it a great solution for networking gear, servers, audio equipment, or a mixed home-lab stack. Overall, the VEVOR 20U rack offers excellent stability, reliable construction, impressive storage capacity, and a smooth assembly experience. I’m extremely satisfied with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable 20U solution without breaking the bank.

Great product with some minor issues.
I bought the 12U Server Rack, no swing part tho, I never advise anyone to buy those, it's a point of failure in the name of convenience. Just leave enough cables for your patch panels so you can unscrew and flip it then temporarily screw it in while you patch down your new drops, then put it back to the proper way once you're done. The metal is very sturdy and feel like it will last forever can carry some weight from the appliances being installed. The ONLY problem I have with it is that they did not pay attention to lining up the screw holes so it was a bit tight to get things all lined up and screwed together. I like that they include concrete expansion bolts but most of these racks get installed on non-concert materials like 2x4 lumber or 3/4 plywood anchored to studs. It would be nice to get either both anchoring screw types or go with the majority and include lag bolts. But this is a super minor thing as we can always buy the bolts we need for cheap. Over all it's a great product that looks really good, easy to assemble, good functionality as it comes with two shelves that would cost you about another $100 or so. Oh yeah, there is no manual in the box, but there is a link to it on th product page, you don't need a physical copy to be honest. Less waste to send to landfills. Will post more pics once I get it installed over the weekend.

Nice rack bad screws
Well made rack. Only issue is a couple of the screws stripped out. They are of a soft metal. Other than that its awesome and worked perfectly for my needs.

fairly easy to assemble with the proper tools
This is rock-solid once assembled perfectly-sized for doing infrastructure for a small network, a hidden away media cabinet setup, or space for a home security system. There are 4 holes on the top panel for cable management, and those happen to be large enough for at least a dozen CAT6 ethernet cables to pass through a piece. Also, it can be assembled and installed by one person as it’s not as heavy as it looks and isn’t very awkward to position for wall mounting. As far as value goes, you’ll have problems finding used equipment racks for this price. I did look myself and at this size, I didn’t find anything this inexpensive. Just make sure that when you’re assembling it that you use a screw gun with an adjustable clutch or an impact driver, along with properly-sized Phillips #2 screw bits. Your arms and anda will hate you after 63 screws to assemble the rack, and electric screwdrivers that look like regular screws drivers won’t have the power to tighten these screws.

Excellent value for the money.
Sturdy and well built. Spacing is to spec and price made it attractive. Looks great, easy to put together, it's exactly the right size that a 12U rack should be and it does everything that a server action, it functions exactly as intended. Yes, my picture shows the mess that is my rack with my server, but it's in the basement mounted to the ceiling, doesn't really matter. I used unistrut mounted to the ceiling and elevator bolts that match the threads for the server rack feet, and mounted the server rack upside down to suspend it from the unistrut on the ceiling. Mounting the frame upside down doesn't matter, you just flip the shelves over.

Fantastic rack at an excellent price
Very sturdy. Easy to assemble. Excellent rack. It's huge with plenty of depth and comes with 2 shelves. This exceeded my expectations.

have maybe 15lbs of gear in unit. When the front section swings out it bends the bottom structure to the point that the door came out of the pins and I was lucky to catch it. Once closed it still seems to be bending. Do not recommend it had to use zap straps to hold it together.

Sehr stabiles Rack!

Great as a server rack, easily supports my switches and even a Dell R730 resting on the bottom just by sliding it in, and it doesn't fit perfectly but it's not meant to. The build quality is fine for the price, it had some light cosmetic damage but that will be unnoticeable compared to what will accumulate over time. The included shelves are also decent but can't support much weight (an SFF Optiplex on the 1U shelf or large switch on the 2U shelf are close to a comfortable limit). Overall it's very sturdy for typical or light usage. The assembly had very close/tight fits, with some slightly misaligned holes which just barely worked although I think they might be intentional for stability. And as with just about any product (especially cheap ones) I would appreciate more honest and concise marketing, but is otherwise a great product for the price. My only actual complaint would be the damaged packaging, and VEVOR is well known for this but they have quite poor shipping which may cause damage every now and then. I got lucky and no parts were broken or anything, but worse is definitely possible.

Review of 10U version. Good value overall. Package says two people needed to assemble, but for 10U version I managed by myself. You need a powerful electric screw driver as there are no threads so the screw cuts as it goes. Very odd choice of cage screws, they use a hex screw. Its okay, does the job and comes with a 2U and 1U shelf. The lid has four grommet holes for cables.
