I tried to spray when I saw them. But probably only kill 5%. They say kill the queen and household or you do no real damage. Well I bought the kit and put 1 or 2 spikes in each of the 3 locations where I would normally have seen the swarms. Since I put them in in March, not ONE termite has been seen….AND I’ve had to replace each of the stakes at least once which means they are eating the poison. Awesome investment. But these stakes will let you know the areas in which they are active so if you have to call a professional you will know where he should focus.
