what is the difference between the xtreme and xtreme2 ?

The Bluetooth tech on the Extreme 2 is newer and will work with newer models that the original Extreme won’t. The base range on the 2 is superior, but they both sound great. Orig is water ‘resistant’ where the 2 is ‘water proof’. I think the 2 is slightly larger and more expensive.
