First Impressions: True Tales From The Road

After reading this book it made me take a look in the mirror and question my outlook on people and why I am so quick to judge. Very addicting and keeps you wanting more. Great book and even better author.

Reveals the undertones of first impressions. A light and enjoyable read.

Preachy, overwritten, not one wisp of humor despite having been categorized as such. Mercifully brief and the tales hold germs of interest, all badly handled.

I loved this Gare Allen book. I could literally feel myself sitting in the car watching and hearing these scenarios unfold. This is a great lesson on not judging a book by the cover. In the start of many of these stories I felt myself making the same judgement based on his description of that person, but by the middle of their story I wanted to know more about them. I could not stop reading and wanted more passengers. I read the entire book in one evening. It's like taxi cab confessions...but smarter and with a lot of soul and a deeper message. I can only hope there are more of these books to come.

Mr Allen has once again wrote am awesome novel. I brought the book on a Saturday afternoon, started reading Saturday night and finished in one sitting. I laughed, cried and reflected on my life's first impressions of people. I could not put the book down. The writing is excelllent! Mr, Allen is my new favorite author!,
