When available, Sainsbury's own brand Almond Butter 1kg was the cheapest I found and very good. This one tastes excellent, no problems with it. It seems to have a lot more oil in it. Presumably this diffefence is the variety or source of the almonds. This makes it easier to stir up. This may also be fresher than some other brands, with less time in storage to settle out and dry up. So I try to spread it thinner on the bread. The plastic tubs are transparent and not as tough looking as other brands, but actually the same kind of plastic, and two orders have arrived in perfect condition, well packed.
