I bought this for self haircut..It was a bit pricey for my liking..but the quality of haircut it provides and the control over the fading justified the price..very happy with the purchase..if you are confident with self haircut, this will be a good investment for you

I am a huge admirer of Remington Hair Clippers and this is my second hair clipper from the same brand. I bought my first hair clipper (Remington HC240C with some 6 Combs) in 2013 and it worked amazing for five years. Finally, when it started giving problems, I decided to go for this one. HC5035 Colour Cut Clipper (White) is a 16 Piece Kit with 11 Comb Adjustments (see photos) for various hair cutting lengths. The white coloured clipper works just fine and all the comb adjustments fit perfect. The clipper has a lever that adjusts the blades to various heights in order to vary the hair cutting length. The materials used in clipper construction and combs are top notch. The only issue is with the Three Pin Plug, which is UK Compatible and will need a Three Pin Adapter to use here in Bharat; not a big problem at all. The clipper arrived well packed and in absolute mint condition. The seller "V. K. Electronics" was very prompt in service and I received messages from them at every step, right from packging the product to delivery by courier; a good and rare experience from a seller now a days. The delivery by Amazon was quite fast (booked on 27 Oct. 2018 - delivered on 02 Nov. 2018). All in all, a wonderful experience so far in terms of Product Quality, Packaging, Delivery and Seller. Thank you Amazon!!! Just buy it without any hesitation!!!

I was afraid initially wondering what if it goes wrong. To my surprise, it gave me so confidence in my first attempt. Yes I did my complete haircut, with zero assistance.

I managed to cut my own hair for the first time using this clipper and it worked perfectly. All the attachments worked fine and cut hair according to the lengths specified. Also, unlike one other reviewer, my clipper came with a 2 pin plug, instead of a 3 pin plug, so I didn't need to use a converter plug. It does get a little hot after some time, but nothing unbearable. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the packing isn't good; the outer box is very flimsy and the inner box is a pain to work with.

Reçue et essayée aujourd'hui: elle est parfaite. Moins bruyante que mes deux précédentes tondeuses de marque, bien moins chère et plus facile d'utilisation. Le tout pour un tout petit prix. Certes le câble est un peu gênant mais mes deux précédentes tondeuses à batterie sont toutes les deux tombées en panne au bout de 6 ans car la batterie ne chargeait plus. Je n'aurai au moins pas ce problème avec celle-ci. Le levier de réglage est très utile et permet de couper la barbe également entre environ 1 et 3mm.

Lo utilizzo da circa un anno e nel complesso sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto. È un prodotto semplice, affidabile e con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Uno dei punti di forza è sicuramente la dotazione: i 9 pettini guida colorati sono molto comodi perché permettono di riconoscere immediatamente la misura desiderata senza rischiare di confondersi. Una caratteristica pratica soprattutto quando si utilizzano diverse lunghezze di taglio o quando più persone in famiglia usano lo stesso apparecchio. L'impugnatura è ergonomica e comoda, il peso è contenuto e permette di utilizzarlo senza particolare affaticamento anche durante tagli più lunghi. La qualità costruttiva è buona e dà una sensazione di solidità, in linea con quello che ci si aspetta da un marchio come Remington. L'unico limite è la presenza del cavo di alimentazione, che riduce un po' la libertà di movimento rispetto ai modelli wireless. Tuttavia, avendo già utilizzato in passato un modello a batteria, posso dire che dopo qualche anno spesso la batteria perde autonomia e si finisce comunque per usarlo collegato alla corrente. In questo senso, il funzionamento a filo garantisce sempre la massima potenza e disponibilità. Le lame svolgono bene il loro lavoro e il taglio risulta preciso per un utilizzo domestico. È un prodotto pensato per chi cerca praticità senza spendere cifre elevate. Uso Remington da 10 anni e, pur essendo un marchio asiatico, propone prodotti con una buona qualità generale.
