Box Contains Game, manual Review: Retro Perfection - I’m not too sure why there’s been issues for other reviewers on here as I’ve been playing this (a lot!) over the past couple of days and had no lag problems, game crashes or sound out of sync. This has run smoothly and perfectly. As a 36 year old gamer who grew up in the console wars (I was actually a Nintendo fan with a NES and SNES but played the Megadrive a lot at friends houses back in the day) this amazing collection has brought back so many fond memories of some absolute classics. My favourites being Sonic 1 & 2, the Streets of Rage trilogy, Altered Beast, Golden Axe trilogy, Sonic Spinball, Columns, Gunstar Heroes and many more and they’re all here in perfect emulation and even better than ever with their screen filters. In addition there’s also online mode, local multiplayer, challenges, rewind, save states - so much more than I could have hoped for in an already very impressive collection that is just a bargain for what you get. Playing in handheld mode is also dream come true for a retro gamer like myself. The Switch is really proving to be a perfect home for retro games (with this, the NES classics, Street Fighter Collection etc) and I am loving it. Review: Excellent old games on new platform - Great to have a game filled with old classics, especially tge Streets of rage 1, 2 and 3 games. It can be slightly annoying in 2 player, when on Streets of Rage because it kept exiting the game. Overall, it was really good though, great to run through the old classics.
