A pleasure to be able to recommend this product with no resevations. Well planned out and solidly made. Assembly takes a little finesse, but comes with actual, easy to follow, printed onstructions - with pictures!wrassling this beast into and under the water was tricky; get a helper. I arraced 3 Chlorox jugs filled with sand to the brace bar and below where the bottom rails atteched. I also removed the plug caps under the steps so it could fill with water. Not sure yet how it will be getting this out of the pool at seasons end, but will cross that bridge then. Free shipping and arrived on one day. Good job, Confer!

Sturdy construction and easy assembly. The handrails are somewhat shaky but seem to work well enough. There is no easy way, that I know of, to remove the stairs From the pool for winterizing. I would recommend purchasing the pad that cushions the bottom of the stairs from friction on the pool liner. I used self tapping screws to anchor the stairs to the above ground deck. I recommend pre-drilling and stainless steel bolts, lock nuts and washers.

Used with above ground rectangular 12x24 Intex pool which has curved sides. The angle at the back of the ladder worked well with the curved sides. This is a sturdy set of steps once assembled and placed in your pool. It was simple enough to put together using the QR code and following along with the video, but it was difficult for me and my partner to put in the pool by ourselves before the weights were attached. I recommend a few people during placement.

Very, very happy with these stairs! They are beautiful and very spacious. They feel stable when entering and exiting the pool. We have an 18x33 and they don't feel obnoxiously large. We did use two 50 pound sandbags for added stability and secured them to our deck with blocks for leveling. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that no matter what we did, they floated without the bags.

Loving these steps, width of the steps is perfect. The feet were a little hard to get on, but after I figured out to tilt them a little it worked. The weighted sides do hold more than 20 pds of sand, but they absolutely don’t float! Nicer than the ones that came with our pool, they didn’t last 2 years. Time will tell, my grandkids will put them to the test but very happy with the price and quality. Assembly was very easy!

Very easy to put together and way more sturdy than the steps that usually come with most pulls. Additionally it also looks much better.

I needed new stairs for my 52" new above ground pool. These are solid, wide and relatively easy to assemble. They were well packaged and arrived in good condition. All the parts and instructions were included. Assembly was literally a snap. All the pieces snapped together as I just followed the instructions step by step. The reviews noted many different ways to weigh down the stairs. I decided to just follow the instructions and used gravel instead of sand. Since I am older and it's only me, I needed them not to be too heavy so that I may easily put them in and take them out with the changing of the seasons. I used 20 pounds of pea gravel. I first cleaned the stones well and poured 10 pounds into each side. I then lowered the stairs slowly into the pool. I leaned them to the right and allowed the water to fill up the stairs, I leaned them to the left and let them fill, to the right and to the left until the stairs just settled on the bottom. It took a good 10-15 minutes. As you can see from my photos, the stairs sit on the bottom of the pool without being anchored to the deck. I then screwed the stair attachment arms to a couple of pieces of 2x4s that are screwed to a 2x10 piece of wood as a base. I then strapped the base to my deck. I did not want to screw the stair base to the composite decking because screw holes would damage the decking over time. The winch straps are really strong and keep the stairs in place when tightened correctly. I love the extra width of these stairs. The hand railings are fairly sturdy and do well getting me in and out of the pool. I installed them in June 2022 and am writing this review 2 months later. I have had a couple of pool parties with kids, adults over 300#s and everyone in between. The stairs are still as perfect as the day I installed them. These are great quality pool stairs for the price. I highly recommend them.

These are the absolute best purchase, we have had them for 2 seasons and as long as you store them in a shed during winter, I believe they will last many years. Straight forward assembly.

I was apprehensive to order these pool stairs since I've never seen them in person but our old used and wobbly pool stairs were in desperate need of an upgrade. These were seriously so easy to install (with two people), and as others mentioned needed more sand than the recommended amount in order for them to stop floating but they are seriously amazing! They are so sturdy, nice and wide, the treads are so comfortable, and the handrails are really robust. These are a serious improvement and we are so happy. Wish we didn't wait so long honestly. Delivery took longer than we wanted and we worried they weren't showing up but then arrived. Only complaint is that we didn't get the dark grey colour we hoped we were. Seller, update your photo.

The size & lightness of the material. However the handles are not very stable.
