I needed the copper pads to use on my cell phone. My LG G3 gets pretty hot and it caused some damage to the graphics processor (causing screen flickering over time). I opened the device and applied thermal paste on both sides of a copper shim and placed it right under the processor. Phone has been at least 6-10 degrees cooler since installing this shim with Arctic thermal paste.Can't got wrong with a variety of sizes to use on other applications as well.
