An excellent device which unlike my old tester really old showing only the fault contain but this de vice. Show bothe fault condition lid the mains loathe at the socket which is useful when a drop in mains occurs. So thumbs up

Easy to use. Clear information on the screen and the rcd test function works perfectly.

Works as intended. Easy to read and use. Comes with instructions if you've never used one before but it is fairly idiot proof. Good bit of kit.

Found a problem with my socket straight away.

This is a neat and simple to use mains socket tester. It seems well made and the lights are easy to see from a distance. I gave the tester 4 stars for “ease of use” because the two light indication that the socket is working correctly is, me, counterintuitive as the tester is required to test the functionality of three wires in the socket. If all three wires in the socket are wired and working correctly I would expect the tester to show three lights, not two.I fully accept that this may well be a personal foible of mine but the first time I plugged it into a socket and it showed 2 lights I had to find my glasses, take the tester out of the socket to read the v small printed instructions of the face of the testeronly to discover that the 2 light display indicated “all good”.Perhaps I should have read the instructions first.

Brilliant tester, identified the exact problem with the mains connection in a 3-pin wall point.

Having already had an EICR done on our house wiring, and not being too keen on DIYing sockets on a ring main, I mostly bought this to test power strips / extension leads, which are not necessarily always produced to the expected standards and could be incorrectly wired (e.g. no Earth / CPC continuity or reversed live and neutral on switched sockets).I've tested a number of devices and have verified the results using a multimeter, so happy to use just this tester going forward for similar tests in future.

Direi che per il mio bisogno e ottimo, e fatto bene, le caratteristiche corrispondono a quelle dichiarate dal costruttore, a me e servito per un piccolo impianto fotovoltaico, un problema e che ho sbagliato e dovuto all'acquisto, e che non ho verificato e la spina del Tester, è FRANCESE, o dovuto mettere un adattatore. Ma per il resto fa bene il suo lavore. Concludendo lo consiglio. Ciao e alle prossime.

J’ai acheté ce testeur par erreur sans faire attention au fait qu’il était prévu pour les prises britanniques. Je trouve dommage que ce type de produit soit proposé aussi facilement alors qu’il n’est pas adapté aux prises françaises.Le produit peut probablement être utile au Royaume-Uni, mais pour une utilisation en France, il ne me sert malheureusement à rien. Je conseille donc de bien vérifier le type de prise avant de commander.
