SHIWEI Gymnastics Training Bar- Height Adjustable 3' to 5' Horizontal Kip Bar for Kids

My 7 year old absolutely love this bar. It was very very easy to assemble, instructions were clear and she was up and playing in a matter of minutes. At this point it's more so just something she is hanging on or climbing up onto until she becomes more confident but thus far we are very satisfied. Great bar for the price as well. I went with this one instead of something just a little cheaper and this one has by far exceeded my expectations for a 7 year old. I am 31, roughly 130lbs and I can easily hang on the bar myself. I trust this bar with my child, which is so important. It also easily adjusts up and down as well depending on what types of activities she is doing and whether just the pad or her mattress is under the bar. It does not wobble either. Very sturdy. Overall 5/5 stars for now. Will update in the near future if my opinion changes on it.

High quality, sturdy... heavy to bring inside but easy to assemble. Not too wobbly. Only complaint is it's massive but that's kind of necessary.

***UPDATE 06/25*** a little while ago I recieved an express FedEx envelope with a beautiful handwritten letter from the company about our issue. She wasn't able to reach me online for some reason so she decided writing a letter would be the next best thing. My husband and I were extremely impressed as it wasn't just a short note and an apology - the letter was roughly 2 pages! The rep, Tina, was very sweet and sent us a new bar very quickly and free of charge for our troubles. The new bar is PERFECT! All the pieces fit together seamlessly and it is very stable. My two boys (9 and 5) do their flips and swings all over and there is never a question of safety. Even my 185lb husband gave it a whirl! We are so happy with the gymnastics bar and the customer service was extraordinary! Thank you so much for your help, Tina from TJ Fitness! I purchased this as a Christmas present and when we unboxed it to setup on Christmas Eve we found the pieces were wrong! I was so disappointed because I had purchased gym mats and everything to go with this bar. It was the "big" gift this year and it was a big fail. Luckily, the kids never knew about it but I was left without the big Santa present and felt horrible.

The gymnastics bar is slightly wider that other bar, which is I like. But if you use 4" mat, will not really fit well (has the area is not being covered by mat). The bar can sleigh, so you need to put antislip for that. We found crack on the bar rail when we want to install, which is contrary from the advertisement, no crack or deform

The sturdiness of this bar is great, which was very important to me when picking a bar. The bar is a little bit slippery but a little bit of climbing chalk fixes that. It’s decently easy to adjust the height. I opted to not get the added pad and decided to get a foam mattress instead, as some type of padding for safety is necessary. All my kids love this bar and have had a great time with it so far.

Bought this for our 5 year old daughter who is just getting into gymnastics and she loves it!! It was very straightforward and easy to put together and feels very very sturdy. Even our 3 year old daughter is enjoying time swinging on it! The bar is easy to adjust from one height to another and there are many options for growing children. Customer service was excellent- I emailed them about 1 missing bolt and within a few days they sent me a whole new pack of parts. I would definitely purchase this again.

Christmas gift for 4 yr old

I wanted to write this review because so many keep saying it’s shaky and nothing they can do is helping. (DON’T DRILL HOLES ANYWHERE) What I think is happening to others is the twist in pegs have different tips. 4 are blunt and two are skinny tip. The skinny tip ones go into the hole part of the bar and the blunt ones just screw in and rest against the bar to keep it sturdy. Theres holes on one side for a reason so don’t drill holes. 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ That one kind of review needing to drill holes made me laugh when I saw several reviews mad there were missing holes. Holes are only on one side and only for the skinny tip screw in Knob for a major reason. To keep the pole sturdy and not shake. The whole thing was a breeze to put together. Not sure the issue. I’m 5 ft even, so on the tiny side and I got it together in like 30 minutes. Price I feel is perfect for the bar and I’ve even swung around it and it does not shake, move, rattle, or do whatever other people are saying. All I can suggest is make sure you pay attention to the instructions fully and you won’t have any issues. Happy Swimging!

it was a gift for my daughter birthday. the pack arrived 5 days late with damage of the box. i open it it was a real mess. missing parts, no knobs and no screws.

I searched and searched and searched for the right bar for my 9-year-old gymnast and found it really difficult to find the right balance of quality and price. Am so happy that I opted for this one. It is very sturdy and has a great range of heights. Worth it!
