It was cold when I got it, but not frozen. I recommend opening the shipping box as soon as possible upon receiving and refrigerate and/or freeze. **Q: does it freeze well? How long?** A: Freezes great. 3-4 months at least. (But then I’m not that picky) **Q: Is this frozen when shipped? We ordered this before and it was great but to much to eat in one sitting so we want to make sure it's safe to re-freeze** A: Ours did not arrive frozen.
