I have some excellent knives and an excellent knife sharpener, but the convenience of simply (but VERY carefully) switching out a blade and always having a nice new razor sharp one ready to go is awesome in my old age. I’ve read/heard some complaints (u-Tube) concerning it being too light weight and unsuitable for heavy use such as prying around bones when field dressing an animal. We’ll… I wouldn’t go bear hunting with a .22 either. That doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with a .22 it simply means somebody’s ability to select the right tool for the job just very well might be lacking. The knife has a nice grip. I personally think of it and use it as a long bladed scalpel. Replacement blades are readily available on line and/or Bass Pro. I have gone through about 20 blades in the year or two I’ve owned it and imagine going through a great many more before I die as this knife will definitely outlast me.
