My hair is thinning and I dont want to use a permanent colour** A: I have used this to help blend in my roots between salon visits. I have white/grey hair coloured dark blonde. I use a colouring brush and just do my roots then comb through for the last 5 minutes. You need to leave it much longer on natural hair. It grabs previously dyed hair quickly in my experience. It also washes out of natural hair after a couple of washes but sticks on processed hair. It is a nice gentle product with good colour if you are willing to re apply often. **Q: I want my hair to stay lighter which would be best the silver or the pearl?** A: I use the one above. My hair is totally grey, the colour comes through as a purple/pink! It's not pearl nor silver. I quite like it though! This is easy to use , shampoo in and leave for 2 minutes. My hair colour was not drastically changed but it felt nicely conditioned and my grey hair was brightened and looked ' lifted ' . I didn't want a drastic change - I am grey haired but did not want to suddenly be bright white or left with an unnatural colour . There is no strong chemical smell or unpleasant smell to the product, no staining on my hair line . Plastic gloves ( 2 pairs ) are provided . I will continue to use as I think it tones down any yellow tinges and brightens the hair without it looking ridiculously bright or silvery. The result is very natural and flattering.
