## Description

The Outback 36C multiple pistol case is ready to go to work for you. It's a solid, composite hard case with the upper and lower lids in one solid piece, free of seams, joinery or fasteners. Constructed of high-density polyethylene material, Outback has a uniquely-engineered design that absorbs impact by flexing when struck. Outback is lightweight and its exterior is scratch-resistant. Wide, stable rubber feet stand Outback upright to keep the body safely above the ground. Outback 36C comes with a numbered key-specific lock and padlock holders (pad locks not included). You'll appreciate the peace of mind that comes with Outback.

Review: Very nice case for multiple handguns - I have been looking for months for a new handgun case that I can use to secure my guns for travel. There are many choices out there, but I really wanted the top shelf product at a good price. I sucessfully found that with the Guardforce Outback 36C case. They call it a "hunting case", which I suppose it would be if you were hunting with a handgun. For me it is a secure travel solution for multiple handguns. The case will easily hold four large handguns. Two guns with magazines is a cinch. The Guardforce case comes with a built-in central lock and two keys (numbered, presumably so that you could replace them if necessary). The two latches also each have a hasp/hole to accomodate padlocks. The case is made in China - just so you know. The asthetics of the case are really nice. It has a modern, almost 'tacti-cool' look on the exterior, with mulitiple shapes and angles molded into it. The exterior is covered with a black fabric, skin tight. Nice touch - it really adds to the quality and look/feel. All of the hardware is black. The Outback 36C has a single handle. I like this much better than some cases I own that have a thin handle on each side that meet together in the middle when closed. I've never been a big fan of that design. The Outback's handle is also padded on the inside grip portion, and even has finger groves (like the front strap of a Glock). Very comfortable to carry! There is no shoulder strap, nor anyplace to attach one, unless you used the lock holes in the latches... but with the padded handle and nice overall size I don't feel the need for a strap. The built-in lock seems adequate. The feel of it is nice - it feels secure and well made. Some locks feel (and even look) so flimsy you don't trust them. I'd be comfortable to rely on this lock to keep honest people honest and to keep out unauthorized curious hands. The rear hinges are good quality, and I know they will last - but I would have preferred a single piano hinge that runs the length of the case. Just a personal preference for rigidity and security. The case opens to a 90 degree position only. If you need or prefer one that opens to 180 degrees, it's important you know this. The rubber feet on the bottom of the case are a good size and provide great stable support for the case. I really like this case and I expect to get many years of use from it. However, there is one issue that caused me to rate the case four stars instead of five. The egg-crate foam inside the case needs to be thicker. When transporting handguns in this case, they WILL slide around inside. I don't like having to take additional precautions against having my guns scratch each other up, such as wrapping them each in some fabric. A very good case should be a tight fit and not permit the contents to jostle around. I still like the case very much and will use it for years.
Review: Excellent Quality and Utility - This hunting case was ideal for what I needed. As a compeititive shooter, I needed something to carry my guns to and a from the range and competitions. I use it to transport my competition .22 with red dot sight, my 38 revolver, 5 clips, and various other items. All of these items stay where I place them in the case with no shifting around. The case has a key lock and hasps for two padlocks. I generally do not use the locks, but I would in the event I needed to check my bag with the air lines. The hasps are designed for full size padlocks and not those miniture, useless padlocks that generally come with suitcases. As I recall, this bag was a bit toward the top end cost-wise, but you generally get what you pay for and it is well worth the cost. I would recommend this case to others.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality and Utility

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent multi-pistol case
*by B***K on June 26, 2012*

This multi-pistol case seems very durable and hardy. It is the perfect size and weight to carry in the back of my Harley (in the tour pack) and comfortably carries four full-size handguns (five in a pinch) including a S&W Model 27 with a 6.5" barrel (12" OAL) and a Colt SAA with a 7.5" barrel. Even packed to the gills with five full-size handguns, this case is not awkward or heavy to tote around, despite being of sturdy construction. The inbuilt lock isn't the usual shoddy construction found in most pistol cases of this ilk. I usually use the in-built lock along with a second padlock on one of the clasps. I have not tested it for water-proof-ness, nor have I flown with it, so I can't speak about those use cases. One thing I wish is that the case had some internal pockets to hold snapcaps, papers etc, but it's no big deal, really. I will definitely be buying another one. EDIT: 2 years down the road : Removed one star (should have been half a star, actually) due to the fact that my guns move around in the case, and scratch each other when this happens. While "You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours" may be an acceptable interaction among humans, it is a bit less so when it comes to precision machinery. I will need to use an extra foam cutout to keep my guns in place. That said, I've just purchased another one to house my ever-growing collection during transport.
